El Programa Venezolano de Educación-Acción en Derechos Humanos presenta su décimo segundo Boletín Internacional correspondiente a los meses de abril-mayo de 2014.
Durante este periodo el Estado venezolano ha estado bajo la mirada atenta de las organizaciones nacionales e internacionales de derechos humanos, que han elaborado sendos informes sobre problemas estructurales y sobre la represión ejercida contra las manifestaciones y las disidencias políticas.
En esta ocasión abordaremos como tópico global los resultados divulgados por fuentes oficiales sobre el aumento de la pobreza en Venezuela muy a pesar de los numerosos programas oficiales destinado a combatirla.
Como tópico específico presentaremos las conclusiones de un reciente informe de la Comisión Internacional de Juristas sobre la independencia de la justicia y el acceso a la misma.
Como tema coyuntural presentaremos un sumario del informe “Venezuela 2014: Protestas y Derechos Humanos” elaborado por nueve organizaciones sobre la coyuntura de violencia y represión vivida en el país de febrero y mayo de este año.

The Venezuelan Program of Education and Action on Human Rights, PROVEA presents the twelfth edition of this International Bulletin for April-Mayof 2014.
During this period, Venezuela has been under the watchful eyes of the national and international human rights organizations, which have drawn up two reports on structural problems, the repression against the manifestations and the political disagreements.
On this occasion we will have as global topic, the results reported by official sources about the increase in poverty levels in Venezuela despite numerous official programs intended to combat it.
As a specific topic we will present the findings of a recent report by the International Commission of Jurists on the independence and access to justice.
As economic topic we will present a summary of the report drawn up by nine organizations on the situation of violence and repression in the country ¨Venezuela 2014: protests and human rights¨ presented in February and May of the current year.
